Is this actually useful for professional work?
If you write federal grants (NIH, NSF, DOE, etc.), yes. The AI research saves hours of reading through RFPs and past awards. Templates help you organize proposals faster. But this isn't a magic bullet—you still need to write compelling narratives and understand your client's work. Think of it as a research assistant, not a replacement for your expertise.
What about foundations and corporate funders?
Right now, GrantCopilot focuses on federal grants because that's where we have the most comprehensive data. We're working on foundation support, but if most of your work is private foundations, this might not be your best fit yet.
Can I use this for client work?
Yes—everything you create is yours to use commercially. Export PDFs to share with clients, customize templates however you need, and use the AI research in your deliverables. Just verify everything before submission like you normally would.
What about team collaboration?
Not yet. Right now, each person has their own workspace. You can export PDFs to share with team members, but simultaneous editing and shared workspaces are on the roadmap, not available today.
How does pricing work for consultants?
Same as everyone else: $24/month for unlimited proposals and research. No special consultant pricing or team plans right now. If you bill clients hourly, the time savings usually pays for itself on the first proposal.
